Growing up queer and trans is hard — period. It wasn’t until I began working with the right therapist at 22 that I found the courage inside of me to take up space and transform. These positive experiences that I had in therapy are what ultimately inspired me to become a therapist. As a therapist, my primary goal is to be an affirming and nonjudgmental source of unconditional support for my fellow queer and trans community.

I grew up on the east coast and moved to Seattle in 2023. Since my move, I have worked in the community mental health sphere, serving for a non-profit and providing counseling services to an extensively diverse range of individuals of all ages and backgrounds with varying levels of needs. Prior to my move, I provided counseling services to college students at a university counseling center. I have always found great meaning in working with young adults navigating their adulthood; periods of time in which you are beginning to discover just precisely who you are. Whether you’re at the start of your journey, you have yet to begin, or you have been at it for some time now, I want to support you through your journey.

More about me:

  • I’m a cat parent of two to Fiona & Bear.

  • My non-guilty pleasures are binge-watching reality TV or a new crime series.

  • I love to wind down by playing cozy games on my Nintendo Switch.

  • I am almost always listening to music. My taste is very eclectic at best!

  • I relieve stress by lifting weights, going on walks, and facetiming friends.

  • I’m a huge foodie and love introducing myself to new cuisines!

Recent Activism

Aside my clinical work, I am an active advocate for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and greater social justice. Here are just a few of my recent acts of advocacy and activism:

  • Chats, Healing, Activism, Teaching, & Solidarity (CHATS) Series Champlain College - Burlington, VT

    • “Career Navigation & the Contemporary Trans Experience”

      • At CHATS, I was able to lead a discussion with undergraduate and graduate students on the common barriers experienced by transgender and gender-diverse individuals in the employment sphere following graduation. I spoke of hiring and workplace discrimination as well as what green flags to identify when seeking a trans-supportive workplace.

  • Graduate Program Multicultural Competencies Seminar State University of New York at Plattsburgh - Plattsburgh, NY

    • “Counseling & the Transgender/Gender-diverse Experience”

      • Here, I educated counseling graduate students on the complex mental health needs of transgender/gender-diverse individuals and discussed the need for clinician divergence from cisnormative dynamics in the therapy space.

  • Truth, Racial Healing, & Transformation Center (TRHT) State University of New York at Plattsburgh - Plattsburgh, NY

    • “The Buddy System: A Trauma Informed Approach to Campus Police Intervention”

      • During my time providing services at a college counseling center, I witnessed the lack of a trauma-informed approach by university police during students’ mental health crises. As a result of this experience, I created and proposed an initiative to the department of DEI that called for the  development of an on-call peer support network made up of first-year counseling graduate students to provide Black and Latinx students on campus, as well as all other impacted student populations, direct company, advocacy, and support in their UP interactions.
